To prepare the luncheon for the Bocuse d'Or Trophy, under the gilding of the main reception room at the Elysée Palace, Guy Savoy was able to rely on the precious help of a talented feminine brigade comprising Anne-Sophie Pic, Dominique Crenn, who came from San Francisco, and the Ladurée pastry chef, Claire Heitzler, without forgetting the one and only Yannick Alléno. The Macron couple hosted the 180 best chefs of the country, then the President of the Republic said a few words to thank them all and point out the important role they have regarding the outreach of French culture around the world.

A star-studded chef,  from the Elysée Palace to the Mama Shelter

From Alain Ducasse to Joël Robuchon, including Marc Veyrat, Philippe Etchebest or Christian Constant, these great chefs were able to taste a prestigious menu concocted by the famous culinary host of the new Monnaie de Paris restaurant: Gillardeau oysters,  Guilvinec langoustines, artichoke with truffels and an « oreiller de la belle basse-cour », in homage to Paul Bocuse. A unique feast enhanced by exceptional wines from Burgundy and Bordeaux, Corton Charlemagne 2011 and Petrus 2003.

Mama Shelter, the most trendy table in the Eastern part of Paris

Guy Savoy has several feathers to his chef's hat, with 4 establishments in Paris and another one at the Caesars Palace of Las Vegas. He has also signed the  Mama Shelter Hotel restaurant menu, an atypical venue, coached by Serge and Jerémie Trigano. His team prepares down to earth recipes, such as the irresistible coquillettes noodle casserole with ham and coddled egg, a destructured saucisson from Lyon and gyozas of chicken with steamed vegetables that really encourage you to make a small detour in order to find yourself amidst the friendly and warm ambiance created by a chef whose values of hospitality are showcased from Prague to Rio…
