A historical Malouinière along the Côtes d'Armor region, in Brittany

In Brittany, one hundred Malouinières were built by shipowners during the 17th and the 18th century, around the ramparts of Saint-Malo and used to dissimulate part of their wealth. Today, they are open for visits, once a year, during the Journées du Patrimoine or heritage days, and most of them are totally up to par with the châteaux and manor houses we all dream of.

Only 20 minutes from Dinan, and 1h from Rennes, the Malouinière of Saint-Méloir-des-Bois is hidden on a tree-lined plot of land spanning 2,5 hectares.
