It is renowned for its natural shores, its abrupt coastline with Mediterranean vegetation, its vertical slopes near the “Tête de Chien” and its wild coves. It is also the anchor, seasonal or permanent, of personalities such as the Lumière Brothers, Colette, the Russian imperial family, the Prince of Wales, Sacha Guitry, Greta Garbo, André Malraux, Winston Churchill or even football trainer Didier Deschamps. Since its creation 100 years ago, each of them has purchased a deluxe villa for sale in the Cap d'Ail. But the list of those who have acquired a prestigious property to seal their belonging to the appartenance happy few club, part of this romantic post card, is quite long.

A township of leisure with pleasurable villas

The dream of international stars who have come incognito to this world made up of legend and celebrations, this resort with a mild climate is not, however, just a long succession of houses for sale in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Located along the waterfront, it is abundantly endowed with a religious and cultural heritage made up of châteaux, museums and gardens inherited from the glorious past of the Belle Epoque. Along the customs path, the beaches of Marquet and Mala are separated by the marina which offers its docks to boats alongside super-yachts.

The whiteness of a property in the Californian style

But it is out of sight that stands an estate steeped in history: the Villa Marizzina. Dressed all in white, in the purest Californian style, it was the property of great figures of European aristocracies, such as the Grand Duke Andrei Vladimirovich, cousin of Tsar Nicolas II, the ballerina Mathilde Kshesinskaiau, then the Italian princess Odescalch. It offers a breathtaking view on Cap-Ferrat.
