Brokis and artisanal glass lights from Bohemia
While breathing new life into the unique style of lights produced by Bohemian craftsmen, Brokis offers a balanced blend of materials and two centuries of expertise.
Nowadays, artisanal glasswork from Bohemia is a far cry from its folkloric roots. In fact, it is much closer to modern art. The Czech lighting brand Brokis, founded by Jan Rabell, is a living example of this craft and represents an original product that combines handblown glass with other refined materials, including wood and metal, to redefine the boundaries of design.

The company’s lighting collections have earned an international reputation. They have won awards during prestigious professional competitions and made quite the splash at the last Salon Maison & Objet trade fair in Villepinte. Its daring ranges of lighting solutions offer innovative technologies without compromising on quality or altering generations of local know-how.

Combining functionality and decor
The pieces designed by Artistic Director Lucie Koldovala, whether ceiling pendants, hanging lights, wall lights, or table lamps, are functional and decorative. Some designs require several years of experimenting before they are perfected and deemed accurate reflections of the brand. The creativity and attention to detail that goes into each model has brought creation to new heights.
