Franck Evennou : a poet specialising in bronze
Franck Evennou is passionate about working with bronze. He uses his poetic skill to create sculptures, furniture, and items all featuring organic curves.
Every day, Franck Evennou works with and fashions bronze by hand, giving it new shapes and a soul. In his workshop, he hammers out this raw material to create pieces of furniture, each one serving as a stanza in an endless poem, then combines it with another material, such as wood. The beauty of his artistic language is inspired by the perpetual stories told by his ultimate muse, nature.
The poetry of bronze
His collections, which are somewhat mysterious in nature, call to mind landscapes teeming with organic shapes, enchanting shadows, rays of sunlight filtering through trees, volcanic fault lines, and the nebulous river banks lined with interlacing vines. Each piece, which is designed for everyday use, offers a subtly nostalgic reference to the past.
