50 authors at the Casino Barrière book fair of Trouville-sur-Mer
On the 3rd and 4th of November 2018, 50 authors will gather at the Casino Barrière of Trouville during one of the leading literary events in Normandy.
In the Calvados department of Normandy, the city of Trouville-sur-Mer faces Deauville. It is known for its romantic beaches, its aristocratic villas, its mythical brasseries, its thermal baths, its casino with a Belle Epoque atmosphere, but also for its Salon du Livre book fair that gathers the top national writers and a wide array of readers from all over France.
The rendezvous of authors at the Deauville Casino Barrière
To welcome them in style, the seashore resort has pulled out all the stops! During 2 days, visitors and writers will have at their disposal the Salon des Gouverneurs of the huge establishment decorated in a Louisiana-style by the sea as well as those of the Cures Marines Hotel Thalasso & Spa, to share and enjoy pleasurable reading moments.
A public debate with the writers
Here, at least fifty authors, amongst which Frédéric Encel, Jérôme Garcin, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Olivia de Lamberterie, Fabienne Jacob, Raphaël Enthoven, Éric Fottorino, Alain Genestar and Daniel Picouly will present their novels, essays or biographies and will meet their readers for an afternoon of dedications and outstanding literary encounters.
