70th anniversary of Porsche : the National Automobile Museum invites Régis Mathieu
Until 15 October 2018, the car collection of Régis Mathieu will be exhibited at the National Automobile Museum in Mulhouse to mark the 70th anniversary of Porsche.
What connects luxury chandeliers to vintage Porsche cars ? The passion of a man, Régis Mathieu, who has acquired over his life thirty exceptional models of the Stuttgart brand. Car connoisseurs will have the opportunity to admire them under unique light fixtures, new pieces freshly produced by an artist who considers automobile as an art.
Régis Mathieu, guest of Porsche 70th anniversary
In that exclusive place, Porsche models are majestically staged, in a former wool manufacture transformed by the Schlumpf brothers into a museum located in the heart of the Alsatian city of Mulhouse. Those industrialists have turned their factory into the finest and largest place in the world devoted to automobiles, extending over 25000 m2. Administered by the Fondation Culturespaces, this national museum welcomes each year a total of over 200 000 visitors.
The meeting of the most prestigious brands
The greatest European brands such as Bugatti, Panhard, Peugeot, De Dion, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Triumph, Jaguar or Renault tell the history of the automobile, from 1878 to today, displaying 400 emblematic vehicles that have marked their era. For your own delight, drive a mythic Porsche car on the exhibition track. Be daring, take the wheel !
