Annecy Landscapes, an artistic journey on a romantic lake

Along a lake bordered with small beaches, the eponymous city of Annecy, the Venice of the Alps, is about to host an important cultural event this Summer. Known for its romantic canals and its pastel hued houses, the city lives at the bottom of ski slopes and in the shade of a Medieval castle, former residence of the Counts of Geneva, transformed into a museum. Here, art is a way of life.

The landscapes of Annecy revisited and enhanced

Throughout the city, there will be many « Happenings » during this festival dedicated to landscaped installations in a public space. Scattered along the patrimonial sites favoured by Annecy dwellers and tourists, these works of art will put the spotlight on our relationship between natural landscapes and those in an urban environment while enhancing the place of art in the growth of a city.

Outdoor Street Art 

For this first edition in the Haute-Savoie capital, 50 artists, stylists, designers and architects, in the making or confirmed, will unveil their monumental works on the theme of Street Art, and transform them into a real scenography. In an idyllic setting, these outdoor theatres will enable you to discover the grand masters of tomorrow, as a special preview…
