A glorious past as heritage

Benefitting from a glorious past since 700 years, these warriors, stemming from military nobility, left a strong imprint on their era. Using historical landmarks, the exhibition reveals this founding myth and its heritage through the ornamentation of their armors, while reflecting the decorative arts of lacquered objects, the delicate art of tea ceremonies and Nô theater.
