Sunday mornings call for a hearty brunch, with friends or with family. So why not make the most of it in the sumptuous salons of a castle ? Modave Castle, situated outside Liège has it all. Behind its 17th century facade, this edifice passed from old nobility to ecclesiastic aristocracy, before coming into the hands of the C.I.B.E.

Modave Castle, the hotspot for elegant brunches

This private enterprise is making the most of this precious heritage by opening its doors to visitors : the water jets of the ornamental lake, the guardroom, the weapons room, the dining room which has a service of more than 1 000 pieces of Gien porcelain to cater for even the largest reception, bedrooms with elevated alcoves and a private chapel to host weddings, without forgetting an elegant restaurant.

The restaurant has set up tables in a barn with white stone walls and beams. In this bucolic and romantic setting, the generous buffet is made up of local seasonal products. And to keep the party spirit of your events going, the cake is on the house...
