Cannes, world golf capital, from the 11th to the 14th of December 2017
In honor of the 20th edition of the international Golf Travel Market, the city of Cannes becomes the world capital of golf.
During 4 days, the IGTM fair in Cannes will attract 420 tour-operators, 550 travel agents specialized in golf and 100 international media. With 27 prestigious sites, the Riviera has imposed itself as a pioneer golf destination since the 19th century, with the arrival of the European aristocracy wishing to take advantage of the heavenly places on the French Riviera renown for its mild climate.
Cannes, from the red carpet to the golf course
This year, the largest fair dedicated to golf professionals will have a special aura, just a few months before a major event. In September 2018, France will be the host country of the Ryder Cup, one of the five sports events with the most important media coverage in the world, a queen competition where the best European golfers will play against their American peers.
From the French Riviera to the 2024 Olympic Games
As backdrop of this operation, a new offer will be launched with the Pass Côte d’Azur Golfs, Pays de Grasse, in order for the general public to discover a sport not that well known. A very special venue to showcase the golf opportunities of this leading touristic destination and put into perspective the Paris 2024 of the OG where golf will become an olympic discipline in its own right.
