Clos de Vougeot: worldwide influence backed by 900 years of history

Every month, new members are inducted amidst its antique grape presses during a joyous ceremony.

While the estate no longer produces wine, its reception rooms, which were saved from certain ruin by the property’s many owners over the centuries, now host history and architecture fans, who are more interested in touring the cellars and admiring the impressive carpentry work, which dates back to the late 17th century.
