Albane Tresse, one of the descendants of the Montgolfier brothers, a pair of famous aerial adventurers from the 18th century, created a tableware brand that brought the brothers back into the limelight. With the same drive to explore and push boundaries as her ancestors, this passionate entrepreneur has dedicated her life to her business, which she has named in honour of the aerial duo.

Montgolfier : a label that’s taking off

Thanks to her thorough knowledge of craftsmanship and her experience with international markets, Albane Tresse is reviving a forgotten myth, i.e. the story of the first time a human took flight in the garden of Versailles in front of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette. The Frères Montgolfier brand is the result of collaborations and partnerships with artisans who have been awarded « living heritage company » certification.
