Dinard Showjumping Competition : a star event on the Emerald Coast
From 1 to 5 August 2018, the International Dinard Showjumping Competition will capture the attention of all equine enthusiasts on the Emerald Coast this summer.
Dinard, a seaside resort in Brittany and a favourite destination of American and English vacationers since the early 20th century, is offering a wide range of cultural events this summer. Following German Film Week and before British Film Week, which will be presided over by the actress Monica Bellucci, the city will be setting up the judge’s tents for a showjumping competition attended by the world’s top riders.
The Dinard Showjumping Competition on the Emerald Coast
Indeed, the biggest names in showjumping have already announced they’ll be attending the show, one of the last major events in the summer season. This year, the value of the prizes equals 630 000 €. Several competitions will follow, including the Derby Tropicana and the Dinard Rolex Grand Prix, some of the most eagerly awaited shows for equine professionals and amateurs alike.

Sporting events and VIP parties
While competitors are battling it out in the arena, the prestigious VIP area will be home to elegant ladies in hats and gentlemen watching the show through binoculars. In the evening, the festivities will move to seaside villas hosted by sponsors.
