Expo in the city : In tune with the World, at the LVMH Foundation
From the 11th of April to the 27th of August, 2018, 25 contemporary artists will be featured through the exhibition In Tune with the World, at the LVMH Foundation.
Exhibitions follow each other but are always different in the modular galleries of the impressive Frank Gehry building. And with reason! The personal collections of Bernard Arnault unveil even more unexpected treasures with a palette of artists never showcased in this amazing site. In keeping with the theme of this new exhibition the works set forth the theme of Man's place in the universe.
The LVMH Fondation is in tune with the world
Two different presentations question our relation with the living world, pinpointing the interconnexions between human, animal, vegetal and mineral. The first will put the spotlight on Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, whose pop universe recalls acidulated mangas, while making room for DOB, his clever alter-ego, sustained by the numerous « Kawaï » images which he invented.
An eclectic artistic panel
The second presentation passes in review the work of Henri Matisse, Cyprien Gaillard, Gerhard Richter, Yves Klein, Christian Boltanski, Matthew Barney, Trisha Donnelly, Mark Leckey and Dan Flavin on supports featuring bright colours. For sure, this cultural event is sure to keep us all in tune…
