Franka Holtmann gives out the Prix Meurice Award for Contemporary Art 2017-2018
Under the patronage of Jean-Charles de Castelabajac, this prestigious prize for contemporary art is awarded to plastician Morgan Courtois by the General Director of the Hotel Meurice in Paris, Franka Holtmann.
Since 10 years, the Hotel Meurice contributes to bringing out into the spotlight works by confirmed or budding artists. Faithful to its heritage, and to its vested interest in contemporary art, this flagship of the Dorchester Group, in Paris, created this event, under the impulsion of its General Director, Franka Holtmann, thus reinforcing its position as company sponsor in terms of young creation.
Contemporary art, cultural strong point of the Hotel Meurice
Through this action, non-profit material support is offered to a French artist, as well as a gallery, to help establish notoriety abroad thanks to the visibility given to this international prize rewarded by a 20, 000 € check. This high-end event encompasses all the means of expression, whether plastic arts or visuals, paintings, sculpture, photography and video.
