The Gallery-Museum of Baccarat, a crystal extravaganza
In Paris, the Baccarat Gallery-Museum unveils the magic of crystal with a selection of 350 pieces from its collection of stunning luxury.
Steeped with history since the end of the 19th century, and redecorated by Philippe Starck in 2003, the former private mansion of socialite Marie-Laure de Noailles, mentor of painters, writers and musicians, shelters a gallery-museum dedicated to upscale receptions according to Baccarat. The freestone facade opens on an alley of mirrors with crystal arms, offering the stunning vision of a chandelier floating in an aquarium.

Adding to the magic of the venue, in an Art Deco spirit, a red carpet trimmed with optic figers leads to an XXL size chair, than an honor staircase, with 157 sparking tassels overhanging from a chandelier in cascades, and finally the sanctuary. A handsome ballroom whose wall-panelings, mouldings, fine gold gilding, monumental fireplaces and Versailles parquet floors are a stunning suprise for the visitor.
The excellence of a majestic French lifestyle
In the elegant reception rooms, window-displays enhance the house creations, of yesterday and today. A bright luminous 13-meter crystal table presents precious table settings, decorations, luminaries that appeal to the gaze with their fairytale opulence. And to complete your discovery while enjoying a gourmet moment, the Cristal Room, a colouful restaurant, redesigned by decorator Jacques Grange, features a refined menu with drinks served in… in multi-faceted crystal glasses.
