1. Restaurant l'Agapé, a cult address in the Wagram district

Discreet, but high up there on the gourmet scale, this cult address in the Wagram district has just undergone a major change with a modern interior decoration and personalized table service. Under the helm of Laurent Lapaire, chef Yoshitaka Takayanagi, who trained with some of the leading names in the world of gastronomy, delivers a precise cuisine featuring a colourful palette. On the plates, tartare of veal, lobster from the Pointe de Penmarc'h in Brittany, frogs' legs with yellow courgettes, line-fished turbot off the coast of Guilvinec with artichokes and monk fish with anchovies are unveiled like a tasting ceremony. 2. Restaurant Laurent, the kingdom of Alain Pégouret

Located near the Champs Élysées, the Pompeian-style building, sheltering this famous table, has a country feeling. This islet of greenery, favored by politicians, corporate directors and celebrities is the kingdom of Alain Pégouret. The chef, who trained with Christian Constant and Joël Robuchon, serves an elegant cuisine, in the image of the setting and its tempting summer menu features a whole lobster in a salad, a pearly turbot with olive oil, milk-fed lamb marinated in strong herbs and veal sweetbreads with amber beer. 3. Restaurant le Chiberta, the Golden Triangle table of Guy Savoy

A haven of savours, the Golden Triangle setting of Guy Savoy is a streamlined space with mainly black hues, dear to architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Chef Stéphane Laruelle, who treds in the footsteps of the master, puts the spotlight on high-end fresh products. Semi-cooked bonito tuna with cucumeber pickles, Saint-Pierre in algae broth, filet of Charolais beef with slivers of summer truffles and roasted lamb from the Aveyron with small stuffed tomatoes are also served at the counter for a quick lunch. 4. Restaurant Alan Geaam, the new challenger of gastronomy

One, two and now three for this Lebanese-Liberian adopted by Paris! This newcomer, settled in the former lair of Akram BenallaIl, is writing a new chapter of his professional life, near the Trocadéro. Readily admitting he now knows how to cook, this modest chef claims his love of products, seasons and travels in a cozy dining room where he unveils his signature culinary repertoire. Here, guests discover his talent by tasting an egg with cauliflower houmous sprinkled with sumac, the lemons from the mountains of Lebanon and a pigeon with pomegranate molasses with incredible pulpy flesh. 5. Restaurant la Dame de Pic, a very feminine star address

Between establishments in London, Valence and Lausanne, the only three-star woman chef in France sometimes pops by her Parisian bistro, across from the Louvre Museum, to encourage her teams in the kitchen. In the all-white dining room where she privilieges experiences and rituals, Anne-Sopie Pic sets forth her elaborate harmonies between perfumes and savors, such as a fricassée of frogs legs with Lapsang Souchong tea, roasted lamb with Chartreuse and a delightful warm chocolate soufflé.
