The International flower show of Nantes reblossoms, from 8 to 19 May 2019

First floral event in France, Floralies Internationales highlight a 100 % vegetal universe, thanks to 30 artists from the Naturya musical comedy, the 900 volunteers and 600 students in horticultural training, all on deck to implement the largest ephemeral garden. An ambitious project that will allow visitors to live a visual, sensorial and olfactive journey amongst several billions of flowers.

During 12 days, the lush setting of the Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire will vibrate to the tune of 90 inventive landscapes created by ornamental partners, whose purpose is to transform the site into a natural enchantment, spanning 45 000 m². By adopting an international approach, 1/3 of them will come this year from Polynesia, Nepal, Bhoutan, Italy and Myanmar (Burma).

The Olympic Games of the vegetal world

Near the embankments of the Erdre river, the theme "Flowers to live with" takes on all its meaning, with 8 offshoots, all rivaling in creativity: Innocence, Insouciance, Passion, Apprenticeship, Spirituality, Fulfillment, Wisdom, Vegetal Design. Eagerly awaited, the animations for the "Olympic games" of flowers and gardens, showcasing the Pays de la Loire, should attract up to 300 000 visitors.
