From 5 to 15 March 2020, the Californian brand Karma Automotive is scheduled to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
Better get used to the pioneering spirit of this American car manufacturer. This new brand, whose name means « destiny » in Sanskrit, has set its sights on the world market. The mobility incubator Karma Automotive is based in California and is planning on making its European debut at the show in Geneva. Its luxury electric models, such as the Revero GT, are powered by two engines and equipped with IRVINE range extenders.
Karma Automotive’s European debut makes a splash
After the show, the brand will be exhibited through a network of exclusive dealers that is being expanded to include all of Europe. This network will stock a strictly limited number of vehicles. Karma Automotive’s models feature a four-cylinder turbocharged engine that powers an on-board electric generator and enhances the overall performance of this sports car, which was named the « 2020 Luxury Green Car of the Year ».

Thanks to the brand’s collaboration with Studio Pininfarina, the vehicle is elegant and geared towards the luxury market. Featuring an aluminium body and rims, butterfly doors, a racing steering wheel, 1100 horsepower that rockets the car forward from 0 to 100 km/h in two seconds, three driving modes (Sport, Stealth, and Acceleration), and an on-board infotainment system, this sportscar comes with the hefty price tag of 140 000 €. But don’t let that stop you from adding on some of the car’s incredible options.
