Les Coteaux de la Citadelle presents their nocturnal show in Liège, 6 October 2018
This Fall, Liège, the Belgian city of Lights, welcomes the 24th edition of Les Coteaux de la Citadelle. An event that is all fired up.
Liège, the economic capital of Wallonia, bordering the Meuse, is famous for its religious patrimony, the Royal Opera, its Art Nouveau houses and numerous green spaces. It also has been welcoming since 24 years, the Coteaux de la Citadelle, an event of international scope. And during this exceptional evening the « City of Lights » truly lives up to its surname.

As soon as night falls, the great light revelry unveils its small streets and inner courts, its stairways and illuminated terraces in a joyful atmosphere. This outdoor nocturnal concept offers the opportunity of strolling around the city and discovering original venues, lit by 20000 candles, as well as luminous interventions, all punctuated by a great number of musical or theatrical animations.

A highlighted patrimony
Organized by the Echevinat du Tourisme, it will enable you to discover more than 60 monuments and 5 classified sites, witnesses of yesteryear's landscape, all open for the occasion. And for once, forget your car… and the Liège traffic jams, to quietly take advantage of the city's luminous revelry.
