Made.com : a furniture designer turns to boho town bikes
To round out its collections of uniquely designed furniture, made.com is launching a bohemian-inspired line of town bikes for the summer.
Good news now that Paris’ electric car share service, Autolib’, is ending and a wide range of urban transportation solutions, like electric kick scooters, personal transporters, electric unicycles, hoverboards, and Segways, are flooding the sidewalks : the largest online furniture retailer is launching a line of bikes and accessories designed specifically for travel along sidewalks and bike paths this summer.
Made.com : bikes and furniture
This collection includes a dozen men’s and women’s models with anywhere from one to seven gears. The bikes come in four colours : copper, mustard, matte black, and charcoal grey. An ideal solution for commuting to the office, these bikes address a growing need to improve urban mobility.
Practical, vintage-style bikes
The company’s in-house designer, Ruth Wassermann, has created a vintage-style bike set off by modern finishes that will keep its rider looking timelessly trendy. The design effortlessly blends looks with practicality so customers can ride off in style. There’s even a series of useful accessories that transform these beautiful bikes into true works of art.
