From its base in Vancouver, Canada, Molo Design launches its collections of sculpted wall partitions in flexible paper to modulate the house.
With its "Softwall + Softblock" concept, Molo Design, the Canadian studio, founded and managed by Stéphanie Forsythe and Todd Macallen, proves once again that the use of paper in our home sweet homes can be amusing, practical and long lasting. Furthermore, their modular system of wall partitions, with flexible and self-supporting blocks is offered in a wide array of colors.
Flexible paper redesigns the house
It comprises 2 materials, paper and an unwoven textile. Its honeycomb geometry unfolds to create adaptable structures, that can be stored once they are folded up, while being able to connect between each other with the help of magnetized panels. The system enables to create continuous panels of any desired length, to modulate the rooms of an apartment.
