Unusual and secret, Moor Paris is a cabinet of vegetal-decoration curiosities, for the house or the garden, on the edge of the Marais district.
While the end of the year Holiday season is upon us, and gift hunting, dedicated to embellish our interiors or our Winter gardens, is in full swing, inside-trackers head for a concept store that has the allure of a jungle in the historical centre of Paris. Upon entrering, visitors penetrate in a fanciful and poetic universe that cultivates a black theatrical ambiance.
A darling cabinet of curiosities
Conceived like an elegant emporium, the lair of Morten Oren truly deserves our visit. This savvy Norwegian conquered the capital some 20 years ago, without losing his accent from the polar circle. He started out as florist, then a designer for Haute Couture and decoration before transforming this place into a cabinet of vegetal-decoration curiosities—a retro-vintage venue worthy of a mystery novel.
Far-flung useful and strange objects
In his "Rockambolesque" alleys, many surprises await you. Natural and artificial plants, mercurized mirrors, metallic frogs to be used as boxes for secrets, skulls inlaid with pearls and diamonds, cast iron black virgins, gilded frames, antique busts, scented candles, covered in velvet, here you will surely find the unique object for yourself or as a gift…
