Pantone 2020 : classic blue takes the home decor industry by storm

After the flamboyant statement made by Coral Living, Pantone’s colour for 2019, its chromatic palette has made a 180 degree turn towards the calmer shores of Classic Blue. According to the designers of the Pantone Color Institute, this unchanging and timeless shade of blue underscores our desire for a stable and reliable touchstone. It is supposed to inspire serenity, confidence, and a sense of sharing as we set sail into the new decade.

A new Pantone in 2020

The home decor industry has certainly gotten the message. All furniture and accessory collections now sport this universal colour, which seems to check every possible box.
