Passion for Photography : Daho Likes it Pop at the Philharmonie de Paris
The Philharmonie de Paris will welcome an exhibition retracing the sensibility of Etienne Daho through his passion for photography from 5th December 2017 to 29th April 2018.
You know Etienne Daho as a singer, author, composer, actor or producer, and especially as the leading man of a wave of rock that came from Rennes at the beginning of the 80s. The singer of electro-pop hits, who is preparing to release his new album, Blitz, is here showing off new notes to his score. Dahomania is going to kick off again with photography.
Daho’s Life in Photos at the Philharmonie de Paris
This exhibition retraces the artistic trajectory of the « Godfather of French Pop » who throughout his career has represented the renewal of variety with collaborations with artists like Elli Medeiros, Jacno, Dani, Daniel Darc, Jeanne Moreau, Brigitte Fontaine and Vanessa Paradis. Some 200 photos are on view, from Jean-Marie Périer to Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
An Interactive Exhibition Marked by Pop
Visitors will be accompanied by the voice of Etienne Daho for the length of the interactive itinerary, synchronised with their movements thanks to an audioguide. His narrative mixes reflections on pop with the personal anecdotes of a major player of his time. There is much to discover, far from the usual clichés...
