Peugeot Design Lab : a real new identity for the emblematic lion
An originator of concepts for luxury products, outside the motor sector, the Peugeot Design Lab is forging the new identity of the carmaker with the emblematic lion.
Rich with the expertise of 200 years of industrial creation and 120 years of automobile creation, the French company has set up the Peugeot Design Lab, a « Global Brand Design » studio dedicated to the creation of products, services and experiences in all sectors of activity. Led by the Irishman, Cathal Loughnanne, it has leading expertise in a wide range of fields.
The lion brand changes identity with the Peugeot Design Lab
All luxury domains enter its orbit. Transport, from the concept bike eF01 with electric assistance, to a tram for Alstom, not forgetting a helicopter for Airbus, a sailboat for the Bénéteau shipyards, to a peppermill, coffee grinder, piano, surfboard, or a Foodtruck for the oyster producer Gillardeau, the Design Lab’s ambition knows no limit.

A globalised expertise
In Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paolo, the Peugeot Design Lab studios make their expertise work for innovation. They determine a style philosophy associated with a forceful and distinctive language of forms, and communicate their partners’ DNA respecting their materials, colours and graphics charts.
