Bordered by museums and artworks, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, in Philadelphia, celebrates its 100 years. And there are many events underway!
Iconic boulevard of Pennsylvania state's capital, the Benjamin Franklin’s Parkway features fountains, parks and monuments, like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, famous since the scene from « Rocky Steps », interpreted by Sylvester Stallone. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, it will welcome special attractions, exhibitions and unique ephemeral installations.
In Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin’s Parkway celebrates its 100 years
Until the 16th of November 2018, a colorful program awaits Philly's visitors ! Cai Guo-Qiang has set up his « Fireflies », where one takes place in amusing rickshaws, decorated with Chinese lanterns, to discover the city differently. As for the Mural Arts Program, it invites you to discover 20 artistic frescoes that are presented on the walls of different buildings around the city.
