After a careful renovation, the handsome palazzo shelters the art work collection of Francesca and Massimo Valsecchi, a duo of philantropists and collectors from Lombardy, along with engineer Marco Giammona. The other purpose of this grand project, as catalyser of urban development, is to revitalize the charms of Kalsa, a former district of the town deserted during decades.

An edifice to be visited as a small group
The proud edifice is named after Princes Lanza Branciforte de Trabia and Butera while its museum is a work or art in itself. It stands out with a hallway featuring portraits of this family's illustrious members and the decoration of the different reception rooms reveal frescoes with gold inserts, wall panelings and geometric floors in Carrare marble. A very unusual and enriching visit!
