Hailing from the Domaine de Capelongue, in Bonnieux, two-star chef Edouard Loubet, met up with his peer, Christophe Hay, also a star chef, in the kitchen of La Maison d'à Côté, near Chambord. Everything began that very morning, with a fishing expedition along the embankments of the Loire, before continuing in the homestead vegetable garden to pick herbs with subtle fragrances.

Arms loaded with the best local products, the brigades of the two chefs then started working and exchanging their know-how with friendly complicity, from the amuse-bouches to the mignardises.

Rejoicing between surf and turf

The menu was composed of mullet from the Loire marinated with violet, a crayfish soufflé, sturgeon from Sologne grilled on coriander wood, fresh goat cheese from Père Fabre and egg mimosa with ivory chocolate, all escorted by wines from the region and provençal vintages. A real culinary symphony presented to an orchestra of charmed food critics…
