The Warehouse, the iconic newcomer hotel of Singapore

Upstream from the futuristic architectural projects of this state-capital in South-East Asia, The Warehouse Hotel, built in 1895, is dedicated to the heritage of local culture. Well positioned along the Singapore River, on the former commercial road of Malacca, this former warehouse was in turn an illegal alcohol distillery, a hot disco for the golden youth—and finally a landmark hotel.

Traces from the past recall the story of this establishment, member of the Lo & Behold group, such as the old wheels hanging above the lobby, which were used to load bags of spices on boats, and the adjoining bar— an open invitation to colorful and tasty cocktails. Decorated with elements in brass, marble and wood, its 37 rooms, with original industrial details, respect local customs, while mingling with deluxe contemporary finishing touches.

Sitting by the outdoor pool, is is possible to enjoy the culinary talent of executive chef Willin Low in charge of the Po restaurant's kitchens. At his table, the refined concept of the« Kampong spirit » is a mandatory experience to enjoy at least once.
