At the outset, in 1848, Compagnie Coloniale was specialized in the importation and distribution of chocolates, but it very quickly became interested in the tea market that has become its predilection domain. This sleeping beauty has awakened today and rediscovers the 180 recipes of this beverage that stem from its private tea archives, while offering new blends to tea lovers.

Since consumers tend to consume French products, because or their « sourcing » concern, the house is favored for its unique process of tea aromatisation, a technique that freezes aromas on leaves and perfumes them in order to reveal all their sensorial assets.

Always seeking excellence, Compagnie Coloniale will launch 6 new savors for Valentine's Day : Sencha Calida, an alliance of Sencha green tea and semi-fermented Oolong tea that will awaken taste buds, Ceylan OPHG, a « Blend » stemming from altitude plantations, to be enjoyed any time of day, Four Red Fruit, a composition sprinkled with pieces of raspberry, Grint Mint Tea for an escapade to far-flung places, China Extra, whose subtle savors will ideally accompany a brunch, and finally Superior Earl Grey, a great blend highlighted by bergamot and sprinkled with flowers.
