The department store goes gourmet : Printemps du Goût opens in Paris
The latest mecca for good food in Paris, Printemps du Goût, has teamed up with the country’s top chefs to showcase modern French cuisine.
Foodies have been looking forward to the opening for the past three years. The department store on Boulevard Haussman can now finally compete with the Grande Epicerie de Paris thanks to its two floors dedicated exclusively to French cuisine. The range of products on offer includes nearly 2 500 carefully sourced and selected items as well as a star-studded cast of chefs who have chosen to partner with Printemps.
Printemps du Goût : the new go-to destination for foodies
Pastries from Christophe Michalak ; bread and baked goods from Gontran Cherrier ; vegetables, fish, and meat from Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal ; and cheese from Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) Laurent Dubois all vie for centre stage in this love letter to fine living and outstanding food. This summer, a famous chef will even join the ranks with a new restaurant that’s sure to set the city a-twitter.
