Giving life to paper and working with it through all its shapes and forms, such is an overlooked trade that combines the minute details of Camille Ortoli, a young made in Paris artist, who creates sculptures in 2D and in 3D, at the service of her clients. They are used for ad decors, window-displays, participate in special events, organized by luxury houses and ephemeral important exhibitions.

Paper Designer, a trade that brings a delicate material back life

« What I particularly like with paper is its fragility. It needs to be properly manipulated and once you understand how to work with it, it paradoxically is transformed into a more solid and rigid material ». Here is the philosophy of an artist, who seduced leading houses in the world of fashion, beauty, jewelry and art of living, by offering personalized paper ambiances.

In homage to Baron Haussmann

Without unveiling her secrets, Camille begins her work by drawing, then she presents it as an Illustrator layout. This is when the actual creation occurs, the favorite moment of an « artchitect » fascinated by Baron Haussmann. Her fetish material can be cut, folded, glued, curbed, modelled, sculpted, shaped and assembled, as only this paper magician is capable of.
