An arty stroll in the gardens of Aix-en-Provence, on the 16th and 17th of June 2018
Dedicated to art and nature lovers, the 11th edition of Flâneries d’Art will unravel its programme during a stroll through the private gardens of Aix-en-Provence.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Communication and actress Andréa Ferréol, the private gardens of the Provencale capital will be in the spotlight during an entire weekend. After the success of its first editions that welcomed up to 135 000 visitors, 2018 should also be an excellent year with 11 artists of international fame presenting new works.
Art, music and literature gathered in the gardens of Aix-en-Provence
Photographers, painters, ceramicists, sculptors, jewellers and perfumers will be escorted by opera and jazz music, as well as tap dancing along with chants from the Orient and the Occident, while literature is also on the programme with 3 writers giving lectures to the public.

A panel of avant-garde creators
This year, the Flâneries d'Art Contemporain venue is inviting its visitors to stroll in the flowered alleys of the Mistral, Olivary gardens as well as those of the famous Cours Mirabeau. An occasion to enjoy a timeless moment and discover the works of Dominique Albertelli, Gérard Pairé, Catherine Thiry, Chantal Sanier, Catherine Wilkening, Charlotte Mano, Ivana et Saura Vignoli, Franck Sorbier, Nisa Chevènement, Maguy Seyer et Saoya. An arty event in the middle of nature, under the warm sun of Provence…
