Up, up and away: The new hybrid helium Airlander 10
Using the technologies of the airplane and the helicopter, the deluxe Airlander 10 is about to fly off carrying 18 passengers.
While leading American, Chinese and European constructors are working on the elaboration of a new supersonic plane and orbital flights, the return of blimps is in air. Known as the "Flying Bump" because of its cuvaceous shapes, the aircraft built by Hybrid Air Vehicles features a high-end deluxe interior that rivals with most palaces or cruiseships.
Airlander 10, the new hybrid helium aircraft
Conceived for 3 day touristic expeditions, this module of air transportation with an aerodynamic shape, whose highgest speed reaches 150km/h, can take off and land from any flat surface, thus eliminating the need for airport runways. Designed in a curvaceous shape, it is about to be put into production—the first commercial flights are planned for 2020.
