A visit to Etretat Gardens along the Côte d'Albâtre
In the Etretat Gardens along the Côte d'Albâtre, the « Double Jeu » (Double Dealings) exhibition marks the beginning of an international sculpture competition centred around the theme of humanity and nature.
The Etretat Gardens is one of the newest tourist attractions in the Seine-Maritime region. This ambitious cultural and environmental project is headed up by the landscape architect Alexander Grivkoun. Located along the limestone cliffs of Amont, overlooking the Arch and Needle—a favourite site of Arsène Lupin, the protagonist from Maurice Leblanc’s novels—the poetic nature of the site makes it the perfect backdrop for artistic events.
Double dealings in the Gardens of Etretat
Set between natural backdrops that stretch out towards the sea, this exhibition of imposing sculptures has astonished its visitors. Five competitors from five countries have installed their works amidst luxurious flora. On the final day of the event on 1 November 2019, the winners of the competition will be selected by a panel of art critics, gallery owners, and museum experts.

In addition, his or her piece will be purchased by the event’s main sponsor. Take care when planning your visit to this outdoor show—more than 200 000 art lovers and garden aficionados are expected to attend.
