Air Belgium expands its offer to Asia and the Caribbean
Air Belgium, an up-and-coming airline serving Martinique, has decided to focus its efforts on Asia and the Caribbean.
From its headquarters at the Brussels South Charleroi Airport, Air Belgium, which is increasing the number of flights it sends to Asia, particularly China and India, has also set its sights on the French Overseas Territories. The Belgian long-haul airline is now breaking into the French Caribbean market by offering two flights per week to Martinique.
The Caribbean : Air Belgium’s next destination
These two new regular flights, which will be offered starting on 7 December 2019, are the result of negotiations with the professionals of the Martinique Tourism Committee, with support from the Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport. These flights will attract visitors from Belgium, northern France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and western Germany.
A private airport lounge
Air Belgium, which transports 15,000 passengers in its 257-seat Airbus A340 aircraft and offers Business and Premium travellers access to a private lounge, is becoming a major partner for Martinique—especially since the « Island of Flowers » offers year-round sun, beautiful beaches, and fine dining in addition to serving as a launch point for long cruises.
