It's at the Palais de la Porte Dorée, in Paris, that star shoe designer Christian Louboutin will unveil his imaginary world and his fanciful inspirations during an eventful exhibition.

30 years of creation deserve an event! And what could be better than an exhibition to honor the career of an iconic artist. Because indeed the spotlight is on the artist when one mentions deluxe shoe designer Christian Louboutin. From the 26th of February to the 26th of July 2020, his work will be displayed in a show entitled « l'Exibitio(niste) » taking place at the Palais de la Porte Dorée, in Paris.

The Palais de la Porte Dorée opens its doors to Christian Louboutin

A shoe designer and recognized figurehead in the world of fashion, he invites us to dive in the shimmering and multi-faceted universe of a venue that is dear to him. Flamboyant, daring, open on the world, generous and sometime sulfurous, its references run a wide gamut from the world of pop culture to entertainment, including dance, literature and the cinema.

Between the cabinet of curiosities and the imaginary museum

Window-displays will showcase his vision through some of his most precious works, stemming from his personal collection, as well as loans from public collections including models never yet displayed. On site, you will also discover a few of his unique projects, with artists such as David Lynch or Blanca Li. A visit to be made on high heels of course…
